At Elim we love teenagers and we are committed to incorporating them into our fellowship.
- Sunday School – In order to create a more relaxed environment for our Elim Church Youth (ECY), we’ve redesigned the youth rooms! The 3rd floor is now exclusively a game room (and there is more to be added!) The 4th floor youth room has been cleared out, shampooed and put back together into what we’re calling “The Lounge.” This space will provide a great environment for our newly combined middle school/high school Sunday School. Sunday School this year will focus on a curriculum of alternating the teaching of an Old Testament book and New Testament book every 3-4 weeks. It’s going to be a great and in-depth study of the Scripture, all with an eye towards Jesus!
- Youth Group – We will meet as ECY at Elim at least three weeks out of each month instead of once like we did last year. We will most likely come together with NES (Northeast Students) once a month. We plan to unite with NES for a couple of serving opportunities and lock-ins throughout the year to augment the serving opportunities and events we will be holding just as ECY. ECY will be taught this year by Rick Dischinger and a wonderful group of volunteers.
- Service Opportunities – Our Christian faith matures through serving others. We take part in local monthly service projects and other mission opportunities.
