One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16 (NLT)
Prayer from Jill Jezierski on May 4:
Elim Preschool reopens today! May the name of Jesus grace this place! We pray for the preschoolers, their parents and their dedicated teachers, all excited to be back!
Your promises in scripture give us a solid foundation for our prayers and for our hopes for these children and their families. As the children learn, play, and explore with their classmates, may they feel Your love and the love of their teachers.
We pray for Your blessing of protection over each child attending the preschool. As the new safety protocol is introduced to keep Covid-19 at bay, we pray for peace of mind for the children and parents.
