Palm Sunday—We will enjoy a full morning together as pastoral candidate Paul Olson makes brief visits to each Sunday School class.  At 10:30 am, join us in worship as we prepare our hearts for Jesus’ journey to the cross. We will enjoy the preschool children waving palm branches and singing, “Here Comes Jesus on a Donkey.” Paul Olson will give the sermon.

All-Church Devotional—Staff and leaders from Elim have written a devotional for Holy Week that you are invited to use as an individual, family, or group.  The devotional is available on the info booth or outside the office.

Prayer For The Church—April 10-14—Every day at Noon during Holy Week, come join others from Elim as we gather in the Lounge for homemade soup/warm bread and a time of prayer and reflection.

Journey To The Cross Display—April 12-15—Elim will host “Journey To The Cross” once again this year. This is an experiential, self-guided contemplative tour through the last week of Jesus’ life and ministry here on earth. “Journey To The Cross” will be open from 6-8:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday. Plan to spend roughly 30-40 minutes in going through the 12 stations, starting on the Atrium level.

Good Friday Service—April 14—You are invited to come to the cross at 7:00 pm as we experience together Christ’s crucifixion and death on our behalf. A nursery will be provided for your small ones.

Easter Egg Hunt—April 15—This year, Elim is joining Mill City and other Northeast churches for the annual NE Easter Egg hunt at Logan Park!  The Easter Egg hunt starts at 11 am on Saturday, and should be finished by 12:30 pm.

Easter Sunday—April 16—“Christ is Risen!” will resonate throughout our church and lives as we celebrate and encounter afresh the Christ of the Resurrection! The morning will begin with an enhanced coffee time at 10 o’clock, with specialty breads and fruit. During the service, we will celebrate our new life in Christ through praise and worship. The ECK children will be playing the bells to “Christ the Lord  is Risen Today” and also doing choreography to “Jesus is Alive.” There will be children’s church, preschool classes and nursery this morning (but no Sunday School for any age).
